Spetz, owner and founder of Isthmus Surveying LLC (2005), has been involved in the practice of Land Surveying for 21 years. He is a very experienced, licensed and registered land surveyor with a broad base of surveying experience from which to draw.
He has performed and recorded many Subdivision Plats, Certified Survey Maps, and Condominium Plats. Paul is an experienced mapper, and has developed Geographical Information System (GIS) maps as a subcontractor to Marinette and Door Counties.

Isthmus Surveying LLC is a member of the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping. Our RLS (Registered Land Surveyors) number is 2525. We are licensed and insured, and specialize in Residential and Commercial, Urban and Rural Boundary Surveys. Land Surveyor's, like most professionals, use a variety of technology and equipment to complete a boundary survey.

I had questions with property lines and Paul at Isthmus Surveying was very professional, courteous to all parties and did everything we requested in a very short time frame. Paul went above and beyond are expectations and did an incredible job. We were able to move forward with are projects and would highly recommend Isthmus surveying.

My experience with Ismus Survey was excellent. Paul S. did everything he could to help me and he went beyond to try to get me off the flood plane. It's been so stressful with this because flood Insurance is very expensive. He got me down to slight risk but he'd try to get me off witch would be best. I really appreciate his hard and personal work for me. Thank you very much Linda

Needed to get my property surveyed prior to putting in a perimeter fence. We live in an old house (>100 years) so we could not find the most recent stakes on our own. Isthmus survey did a great job. Responded quickly. Came to the house quickly. You don't need to be present during the survey. The completed documents we received were 100% satisfactory. We got both paper and electronic documents for the survey. Would definitely recommend their services for downtown residential property surveying.

Isthmus Surverying did a great job helping me with my LOMA documentation and survey. We purchased a house that was classified as being in a floodplain. The previous owner never submitted an updated high-accuracy survey of the lot, so a few days before closing, we found out we'd need flood insurance. After closing, we were able to have Isthmus do a high- accuracy survey and submit all of the requisite paperwork to FEMA proving the structure was not in a 100 year floodplain. They did the work quickly and at a very reasonable cost. I'd use them again in a heartbeat and have recommended them to more than one friend.

I found the Surveying team to be very polite, professional and willing to work with me to get things done. When it comes to surveying in Madison, there truly is only one choice to make. Ask around and you will hear the same thing over and over. Paul stands behind his reputation and his years of experience shore up that reputation. Highly recommend.
