A boundary survey locates, describes, and maps the property lines of a parcel of land described in a deed. It will also indicate the extent of any easements or encroachments and may show the limitations imposed on the property by state or local regulations. A Construction stakeout is a layout of alignment and grades for the construction of roads, curbs, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, waterlines, stormwater management facilities, buildings, pipelines, power lines and other improvements to the land.
A land survey can become extremely useful when settling a dispute amongst adjoining property owners in cases where one or both of them have already or plan on: building, developing, landscaping, fencing or using the adjoining land. That is a question that we at Howell Kline Surveying, LLC get asked regularly.
The Hopewell Manor development consists of 72 active adult living units on 5 acres located in Elverson Borough, Chester County. The project was funded through the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. The survey for this project was rather complicated due to the fact that three separate property owners were involved.
In 2016 D.L. Howell & Associates and HowellKline Surveying saw that the use of UAVs in the field would only increase. We knew it was essential to add this tool to our engineering and surveying toolbox. We started with one drone pilot and now have five drone pilots between the engineering and surveying companies.

Everyone at Howell Kline Surveying is extremely friendly and helpful! I had a few surveys with them and I'm sure bugged the heck out of them but Matt and Amanda went out of their way to answer my questions and help me even with things that weren't exactly survey related!
