South Texas Surveying Associates, Inc. has been serving the entire state of Texas for over four decades. We have extensive experience in Harris and surrounding counties. We offer all phases of land surveying, including but not limited to ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, Category 1A Condition II surveys, residential surveys, topographic surveys, construction surveys, platting services and elevation certificates.
Commercial surveys will show the boundary of the property as well as the improvements located on the property, any building lines and easements that are shown on the recorded plat or disclosed the schedule b items as disclosed per the title commitment, and any requirements from the lender. Topography surveys show the elevation of specific points on the property.
A: If you are using a loan in transaction, you are required to have a survey performed on your property by a licensed surveyor for the State of Texas. The survey will show the boundary of the property as well as all permanent structures located on the property. The survey is for all parties to review before your transaction is completed so everyone knows what is included in the transaction. You must have a current survey to incorporate the necessary data into a new plat for compliance with municipal regulations.

They saved my you-know-what with some of the best professional service I've had. I was getting a home equity loan. When, towards the end of the process, I realized I needed a new survey because I couldn't find my old one, the mortgage company sent the job to South Texas Surveying to do the survey. This was the same company my friend recommended. They put me on the schedule to do my survey but because I realized I needed a survey at the last minute, it would not have been done on time for me to get my loan.
When I called to explain the problem they were very understanding, put me near the top of their schedule, kept me regularly updated and delivered the survey even sooner than expected. During the process they showed real human concern for my predicament with unusually pleasant and professional service. Great and fast experience. I was in need of a re-plat and I heard that the platting process in Houston is a NIGHTMARE! I called South Texas and they re-platted my property with in a little over a month! The guy I dealt with was really helpful and on top of the project. They were also very competitive with other companies that i received quotes from.

What a great experience! Ja'Tese Adams was very helpful to us. Every company we contacted gave us a turnaround time of at least a week. We needed a survey completed within 48 hours. I recently used South Texas Surveying to conduct a survey on a commercial property for a client of mine, and we were 100% satisfied with the results. We were in a bind and needed a very fast turn-around to update an old survey. They were able to send a survey crew out the very next day and produce a completed survey within 3 days. Amazing.
