Services
The firm of Marsh & Legge Land Surveyors, P.L.C. includes surveyors, technicians and scientists organized as a professional limited liability company in the Commonwealth of Virginia offering state wide land surveying and soil consulting services to municipal, industrial and private clientele. We have completed numerous boundary surveys, topographic surveys, utility line surveys and general surveying support for engineering projects both large and small as well as land easement and acquisition throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The use of elevation allows for land contours to be determined - a crucial factor for many land uses, especially with regard to drainage. Natural and manmade features are also noted such as embankments, ditches, trees, and bodies of water. Data gathered from a detailed topo survey is an important resource when planning improvements to a given piece of land.

They were friendly and worked with us to make our unusual lot (had never been formally surveyed as a very old lot) situation feel normal. We needed to draw the lines for fences and a porch rebuild. Their field surveyor was a really nice guy and worked with us to place stakes where we needed them and he explained the results to us so we better understood the challenges of these old lots that were deeded only be description but not by formal surveying. They have now surveyed nearly every lot on our street. Would highly recommend them.

Received a quote from this company and they wanted to charge a ridiculous amount. Can I really call it a quote? When he actually stated that would be the price no matter what. When the person explained why " You live in Shenandoah Farms and it is what it is" was the explanation. I received a $400 difference from another company. Be careful with this company. No other way to say it but they definitely tried to rip me off. Dodged these guys thankfully.
