Muir Consulting, Inc. was incorporated in 2000 by its president, Jack M. Smith. Mr. Smith, a licensed land surveyor and a graduate of Surveying Engineering from California State University: Fresno, recognized a need to provide high quality surveying services throughout California. Starting in a basement in San Francisco, the company quickly outgrew its space.
