Jemison Surveying Services, otherwise known as JS&S Inc, has grown to become one of the largest Land Survey firms in Las Vegas, Nevada. Based on sound principles of surveying practices, over the past 12 years JS&S has developed a reputation second to none. Since its inception, JS&S has grown to over 50 employees, sending 18 crews out daily to provided the same service that made the company a success.

Ancient Egyptian surveyors were part of a land administration system that was responsible for measuring and taxing land along the Nile River. Surveyors measured parcels of land and used stone markers to distinguish each for taxation. The Nile River flooded annually altering the amount of land available for cultivation and taxation each year.
