Abbitt Survey & Development, PLLC was established in 2019 to expand upon 45 years of regional experience providing professional land surveying services throughout eastern Iowa & northern Illinois. My portfolio of broad project experience includes many Quad City landmarks: residential & commercial developments, roadways and recreational areas, parks & trails. Providing private property surveys continues to be an important aspect of our business.
We are licensed to conduct land surveying services in the States of Iowa & Illinois; practicing under an umbrella of business and professional liability insurance. Consultation for development or re-zoning is also offered; taking advantage of my 30 years of service on a local municipality's Planning Commission, together with the professional representation for current and former clients.

Beginning in January of 1974, enjoying the experiences and responsibilities of field and office survey duties, drafting, title research, boundary solutions and inspection / resident engineer tasks on a vast number of construction sites; together with numerous years of civil engineering design of private and municipal projects have provided a well-rounded background in the civil / survey industries.
Business development and supervisory roles for northern IL consultants; together with personal investments and management of residential and commercial developments have provided opportunities to meet and partner with multiple design professionals, municipal leaders, successful owners and talented craftsmen.
The past 30 years has seen a personal investment of time on a local planning commission, County taxing District, non-profit foundation and community organizations. These years have provided additional opportunities to expand professional and personal relationships with numerous and repeated successful results.
