Due to a minor communication breakdown I wasn't able to be onsite for the survey which was what I was wanting. However Kevin's work was spot on and easy to follow. Plenty of markings made locating corners of the property within the trees much easier. Just what I needed in order to facilitate a retaining wall install. My neighbors mentioned you were very friendly and attentive to detail. And I trust them so I will humbly agree! I can finally finish up the yard projects without worrying who's yard I'm in. Thanks again.

This summer I plan on doing some improvements that require me to have a survey to submit to the city, so I called Layton Surveys and spoke with Kevin. I was impressed with the quick response I received. Within 2 days Kevin was at our house. When he finished he informed me that the previous owners had placed the existing fence 7 1/2 feet inside the property line. Needless to say I was surprised.
Now I'm working on moving the fence so that it is on our property line. I highly recommend Kevin and Layton Surveys for any surveying work you need done. In addition to the prompt friendly service their prices are extremely reasonable.

I have never written an online review before because I haven't been so impressed by someone's work to feel the need to, but if there is one person that deserves it, it's Kevin. From beginning to end he was above and beyond one of the best contractors I have worked with. He is diligent, meticulous, punctual, accurate, and incredibly helpful-made everything easy for us. Kevin's service and price were phenomenal. Because of the old fashion record keeping system in my county he had to drive up to Brigham City to get property records. This forced him to make two more trips than he had planned to complete our survey. He did this without complaint and for his original price. He clearly marked all corners and provided me with a record of survey detailing the relationship of my property with my neighbors. I would highly recommend using Layton Surveys!

Kevin did a great job. I border land owned by UTA and they were giving me a lot of grief. (They wanted me to move my property line back 7 feet.) The City of Clearfield said the only way to resolve it 100% was to have a professional survey. That was starting to look like$1,250.00. I spoke with Kevin on the phone and explained my situation. He was out walking the trail behind my house a day ahead of schedule and by the time of our appointment he was placing the "Markers".
I saved quite a bit of cash and really had a good feeling about him in general. He grew up around here and is a great person. I can now have a fence, Thanks! If you need a survey this is who I would call again, hands down. I am very happy with prompt professional service.

Kevin was awesome! We needed a land survey before building a fence for our backyard. We called and around and Kevin had the best prices and did a fantastic job. Our neighborhood is old, so the corner markers were difficult to find. Kevin had to chip up cement and dig in dirt to finally find them. He didn't charge us for extra hourly work or anything. He is very responsive both email and phone, and is a very friendly. I would highly recommend Layton Surveys for your surveying.

Kevin was wonderful. He helped solve a property issue between me and my neighbor. He explained everything and answered all our questions. He was very professional and did a lot of research to verify the existing lines were correct. I called Kevin last week after having many problems getting a boundary line changed. What a wonderful guy to work with! After having several other surveyors tell me they were too busy or several weeks out, Kevin went out of his way to help us immediately with our problem.
