Established in 1991, Deibel Surveying, Inc. has grown into all areas of surveying. Construction layout, boundary surveys, Mortgage Location Surveys, Flood Certification, building layout, topographic surveys, volumetric, bathymetric, and ALTA surveys are some of the many surveying services we offer. We have recently moved into our new building at 1850 Kimball Rd. SE Canton, OH.

Our survey department has a wide range of experience, including work in airports for runway rehabilitation, taxi-way rehabilitation, and obstruction surveys. Our team has experience with utility surveys, including sanitary sewer water lines, and water treatment plans. Additionally, we have experience in landfills, hydrology surveys, basin analysis surveys, as well as various types of construction staking for most any type of project. Boundary Survey

These surveys are normally described by Metes and Bounds and may require extensive research of adjoining deeds, original government surveys, highway plans, etc. A Boundary Survey usually requires fieldwork on neighboring lands to verify or find existing monumentation. Because many deeds were prepared in an office and not actually surveyed, and others are just poorly written, it may require extra research and fieldwork to determine the property lines. The comers should be marked in accordance with existing state standards, and the owner receives a drawing depicting what comers were set and what comers were found, and the relationship between deed lines and lines of possession.

Topographic Survey

Topographic surveys are made to determine the configuration (relief) of the earth's surface and to locate natural and cultural features on it. From the survey data, using various types of lines and conventional symbols, topographic maps that depict these natural and cultural features are produced. Topographic maps are simply large-scale graphic representations of portions of the earth's surface. Natural features normally shown on them include relief (hills, valleys, and other surface irregularities) , hydrography (rivers, lakes, oceans, etc.) and vegetation. Cultural (artificial) features are the products of people, and include roads, trails, building, bridges, canals, and boundary lines. Names and legends on the maps identify the features.
