In 1958, Franklyn C. Gluckler, Professional Land Surveyor, established his firm in Hackensack, New Jersey and later became one of the earliest licensed Professional Planners. In 1965, the firm acquired the ancient records of a long-time surveyor Lemuel Lozier and his firm Lozier, Zabriskie & Van Keuren, which are used even today to accurately re-establish property lines. This information enables the firm to precisely verify much of the surveying information in the Northern New Jersey area.
After being associated with the firm for over 20 years, Scott Den Bleyker, BSLS, PLS became a partner in 1996, and the business was renamed Gluckler & Den Bleyker. Mr. Den Bleyker graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Land Surveying degree in 1986.
With a combined experience of over 80 years, Mr. Gluckler or Mr. Den Bleyker perform all field work. There is never unlicensed personnel creating your survey. We only certify work we have done personally. The firm uses the latest technology along with historical records to ensure the accuracy of your survey.

Location Survey / Title Survey
The most common survey, a title survey is a map locating all buildings, fences and other structures on the property as well as improvements on adjacent properties. This type of survey is particularly important in real estate purchases so you can identify any issues that could adversely affect your boundary lines.
In New Jersey, a title survey, by law, includes the setting of property corner markers. If you do not wish to incur the additional cost, you are required to waive (in writing) the exclusion of property corner markers.
