We had a wonderful experience hiring Roth to complete a boundary survey of our property. We reached out to several survey companies and they all either didn't bother responding or it was going to be 3 to 4 months before we could get on the schedule. Gary responded immediately, gave us a fair quote, kept us updated, and completed the work sooner than anticipated. We would definitely recommend!

The person who answered the phone was unhelpful and simply rude. I had some pretty basic questions about ballpark costs for a residential fence survey and she acted as if that was an unreasonable question. If they can't be bothered with something as mundane and common as that, they probably won't be very helpful with more difficult inquiries. ***I need to add an edit as the "owner" felt the need to respond.
Apparently she doesn't understand what ballpark means. Furthermore, I'm not sure what she means by "three occasions" because all she asked was when I needed it by. When I said I would like to start either later this month or early January, she quickly, and kurtley responded with "there's absolutely nothing available until after January" and at no point offered three occasions. Well, why did you even ask?
She also said that I "pressed for a price" when all I wanted to know if, and I quote, " was going to be closer to $500 or $5000. She seemed upset for being bothered to answer the phone. As I read some of the other reviews, it is clear I am not the only person who found her rude, which is an incredible feat considering the conversation lasted less than a minute.
Some people just shouldn't work with customers. If she is in fact the owner, I feel sorry for those who have to work with her. If she isn't, I think the owner might consider putting someone else on phones.

These guys are great.! Most of the other companies are only interested in large commercial jobs and don't put any priority on small residential surveys. I needed a one acre lot surveyed to avoid causing any friction with my neighbor when I installed a fence. Roth Land Surveying did a perimeter and corner marker survey, with a map that is so nice I could frame it.
They did the work ahead of schedule and it was 1/3 of what I was quoted for just a corner marker survey from 2 other companies. When the work was done the surveyor came to my residence and explained all of the details on the map and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend them.

I called to get information on an elevation survey and left a voicemail message. My call was returned an hour later and the lady was hurried and not at all interested in providing customer service. She asked how soon I needed a survey and my response was, "as soon as possible" and her sarcastic reply was, "Well, that's not gonna happen. We're booked until mid-March." They must have someone else making these bookings, because she isn't interested in securing business.
