First off, Dan Massey was a consummate professional, happy we had him doing the surveying work for the as-builts. I wanted to take the opportunity to thank Clark and Edwin, as well as the larger Karins staff, for working through the challenges of this year with our objectives. Sent an alta request in with detailed info regarding my request, nobody responded. Followed up the next day with a call and they were at lunch and I was told they would call me back. Never got a response. Called again they next day and I got passed around as they were clueless to what was going on. Finally got ahold of someone and he asked me if I knew who I spoke with and I explained the situation.
He proceeds to tell me I should go with someone else. After acquiring over 70 properties and receiving 70+ Alta Surveys this has to be the most disorganized company I have come across to date.

I had these guys survey a property line at my home a year ago. They spent two and a half day's. well partial days! Sent me a bill for, I believe $600+, and never drove a pin or placed a flag. Today they knock on my door because they were surveying the property next door for a settlement. They needed to get into my yard to do so. I let them in and mentioned that they never found my corner.
The guy tells me, without referring to anything, that it is my corner fence post. I was there most of the time they were surveying my property line. I know they found many pins. I cannot recommend these people they were extremely unprofessional and appeared to be confused or to lazy to do the research necessary to do this job for me. I was however billed professional fees for their lack of work!
I build and renovate homes for a living. I have dealt with many surveyors over the years. I am just glad I tried them out on my own property first rather than for ANYTHING to do with my business. I hold my company to a higher standard than they apparently do.
