The team at J.V. Burkes & Associates were our partners of choice to assist us with our first ever construction project along the gulf coastal area. The lady that answered the phone is extremely rude when I told her that I've put in a spot request on a house a week ago she laughed and said they are three weeks behind first of all they should never engage in surveying for new construction if they can't provide a service on a timely manner no one could sit there and wait for three weeks to get a spot check pathetic

Every interaction with this firm has been a hassle. Each time we turn around it's ordering another form that they "already have measurements for", another grossly underestimated wait time, and another few hundred dollars for additional services. The blatant lack of professionalism and general indifference to client needs and time frames has made moving to the area a deeply unpleasant experience. JVB has dragged the process out to the point that building permits we applied for in 2019 are about to expire. At this point, I would never recommend using this firm for any kind of services.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness I have gotten nothing but the run around. Tried having a spot check done. Was told there is already a house on the property. When I can't build until spot check is done You can never get a call back! Very unprofessional. Have been paid in full for months while I am still waiting for the work to be finished.
