An ALTA survey is the most comprehensive survey that can be done by a surveyor. The ALTA survey requires a higher standard of accuracy and is done so that a title company can insure the title to land without exceptions. This requires that the surveyor be provided with all of the appropriate data which can be relied upon in the preparation of the survey.

I have been waiting around 8 weeks for my survey to be done. There was very slow progress made initially due to inclement weather, understandable. However, in the following weeks it feels to me that they have been very unprofessional regarding following up with me. I have emailed (very unresponsive). I have called (always pushed my expected date back). There has been zero follow-up with them to me regarding progress or anything to keep me in the loop. I'm very dissatisfied with this group and would not recommend them.

Horrible company. It took them six months to get to my land and then another month to finish it on the computer. When I went to the title company to switch it over, the lady there said that the cost of the survey was "very high considering there wasn't many trees on the property." This company is over priced, very lazy, and I wish that I had never used them but hey they give you goats milk soap to help with the aggravation.
